Local skaters from the burro of the sand dunes to the cracks of the abandoned water treatment plant emerged to show off their skills in Downtown Ventura for Blackhole Skateshop Junk Jam. Skater’s with skill sets from beginner to experienced displayed their peacock skills for the crowd who was at awe.

There were two connecting half pipe ramps at the end with a rail, a stage in the center with a few ramps and rails but the main obstacle was the heart hoop with a VIP backstage ticket to the X Games in a taped to-go box.

There were those that tried.

By the end of it there was a winner. But I didn’t stick around for too long so I don’t know who won the ticket.
